Amazon Prime unlocks many benefits like free delivery, access to Amazon Prime video, Amazon Music and more. The e-commerce giant is offering an annual subscription of Rs 499 in India and a three-month subscription at an effective price of Rs 164. Only 18-24 year olds can avail this youth offer. Apart from this, the offer can be accessed through any Android app and mobile browser. This means that the offer does not apply to the iOS app, but can be met by logging in to the Amazon app through a mobile browser.
Customers need ID proof
Amazon users will have to pay Rs 999 for an annual subscription and Rs 329 for 3 months. Eligible customers can then get cashback after uploading the age verification. Customers will have to verify their age by uploading ID Proof (Aadhar Card / PAN Card / Voter Identity Card / Driving License) and Selfie. Once verified, Rs 500 (for annual subscription) or Rs 165 (for three months subscription) will be credited to the customer’s Amazon Pay Balance account within 48 hours. This money can be used to buy goods from Amazon.
50% discount on prime membership
With this youthful offer, Amazon Prime is offering a 50 per cent discount on select membership to select customers in India. Amazon has recently stopped its monthly Prime subscription in India, which was priced at Rs 129. This is because the RBI’s new guidelines called for the implementation of an additional Certification Component (AFA) to process small online transactions. The decision will make monthly recharges annoying and Amazon claims to have removed the one-month option to eliminate the inconvenience. (Get discount on Amazon Prime subscription, know about offer)
