MeitY has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Map My India to expand the ‘Digital India’ program and to focus on ‘Atmanibhar Bharat’.
Mumbai: Over the last few days, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has been taking initiatives to make government services available to the people online. This effort is underway to make life easier for all citizens. MeitY has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Map My India to expand the ‘Digital India’ program and to focus on ‘Atmanibhar Bharat’. This will make the map feature available in the Umang app now.
Thanks to the agreement between Umang Application and Map My India, citizens will now be able to easily access everything at the click of a button. In it you will find information about a government facility, market, blood bank and all other places. Also, with Map My India, you can easily find rural roads from any highway in India.
‘Ya’ will get new facilities
Umang app has already started providing map facility in the following cases through Map My India.
राMy Ration / Ration – Cheap food shops are shown in pointer form on the map of Map My India. Umang can help users reach their nearest store.
💠E-Name – Through Umang, users are getting the facility of ‘My nearest market / mandi / wholesale market’. Accordingly you can understand the direction with the help of pointers on the map. So you can easily find out exactly where her place is.
💠Damini- It will be a warning of other dangers, including lightning strikes. You will also find out where the lightning has struck in the area around you.
In the meantime, to make this app more useful for the citizens, this facility will be launched for some more services.
💠ESIC stands for Employees State Insurance Corporation- Users will be able to see the direction of ESIC’s hospitals / clinics etc. on the map and understand the direction.
💠Indian Oil- You will be able to understand the information of the nearest gas station as well as the refueling station as well as the retail station and the distributor.
💠NHAI stands for National Highways Authority of India– It will help to understand the toll booths and toll rates during the journey.
💠NCRB National Crime Registration Agency- Information and location of the nearest police station can be found on the map.
💠Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (Meri Sadak) – If you want to lodge a complaint about bad roads under this scheme, it will be possible to lodge a complaint by selecting that particular road from the MapMyIndia platform.
