Mumbai : Expanding its smartphone portfolio, HMD introduced the Nokia X20 smartphone in Europe and some other markets earlier this year. Nokia X20, along with Nokia X10, Nokia 8.3 5G has also joined the company’s 5G phone category. So far, HMD has not revealed whether it will launch a 5G phone in India. Because HMD is not as active in India as its Chinese competitors. That is why HMD has not yet launched a 5G phone in India. But the company is now preparing to change that picture. According to the company’s website, Nokia X20 and Nokia X10 will be launched in India soon. Although the matter is not explicitly announced, there is a section on Nokia Mobile’s website that provides information on mobile phone’s SAR (Specific Observation Rate). One of these is the Nokia X20 and Nokia X10 smartphones. India has been selected in the dropdown on NokiaMob website. The company has introduced the SAR value of the Nokia X20 and Nokia X10, which comply with the parameters set by the Department of Telecommunications.

Not only X20 and X10, the website also includes Nokia G20, Nokia G10, Nokia C20 and Nokia C10 phones. Nokia Company Nokia X20, Nokia X10, Nokia G20 and all new phones are available on the website with their SAR value. So it is safe to assume that HMD plans to launch all phones in India soon. However, HMD has not yet given any information about the launch of the phone and given the company’s track record in India, the company will not be in any hurry to launch the phone in India. So customers may have to wait for Nokia’s 5G phone.
HMD is in no hurry to launch smartphones in India. But the company needs to change that approach soon. Nokia has not yet launched any 5G in India. On the other hand, almost every brand has launched 5G phones in India. HMD’s lazy attitude led to a significant decline in Nokia smartphone sales in the first quarter of 2021. Exports of Nokia smartphones fell by 38.5 per cent in the first quarter of 2021, according to a report by Counterpoint Research.
HMD has not yet announced any plans to launch Nokia X20 and other phones in India. But their website is hinting at the launch of this phone. Therefore, the company is expected to launch 5G phones in India in the near future.
