The licensed operators include Bharti Airtel, Reliance, Geo, Vodafone-Idea and MTNL. These telecom service providers (telecom service providers) have partnered with original equipment manufacturers and technology providers (Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung and C-DOT). Currently, we are currently using 4G technology. Of course, next generation technology is faster and better than it is now. All in all, with the advent of 5G, you will get high speed internet. That means you can easily watch videos, download anything, view websites and do other things related to the internet at high speed.

Fear of the dangers of 5G!

At the moment, a lot is being said about 5G radiation. There is talk on social media that this will lead to the death of birds, with 5G being blamed for the current situation (corona related) in India and other countries. Some reports have suggested that 5G-enabled cellphones could spread diseases such as cancer. Some research papers also say that high frequency radiation emitted from 5G towers can cause cancer, infertility, DNA and neurological problems.

But basically 5G and Corona have nothing to do with it. There are many countries around the world that have not yet started 5G testing, but there are a large number of corona patients. On the other hand, the radiation that is being claimed depends on your use. At the same time, no one has been able to present any evidence to substantiate these claims. From a scientific point of view, there is no alternative but to refute these claims.

Jio’s own network in India

Reliance Jio has already confirmed that it will develop an indigenous 5G network. Geo’s 5G network will be developed in India and its focus will be on Made in India and self-reliant India. At the same time, Airtel had confirmed successful 5G testing on commercial networks in Hyderabad. That said, their network is 5G ready and now they are just waiting for permission.

6 months for trials

Currently the duration of these trials is 6 months. It has a period of 2 months for purchase and installation of equipment. The permission clearly states that each telecom company will have to conduct trials in rural and semi-urban settings in addition to urban settings. So that 5G technology across the country will benefit as many people as possible and the network will not only be limited to urban areas but also reach semi-urban and rural areas.

Testing in different bands

Testing spectrum is offered in different bands, including mid-band (3.2 GHz to 3.67 GHz), millimeter wave band (24.25 GHz to 28.5 GHz) and sub-GHz band (700 GHz). Telecom companies are allowed to use existing spectrum (800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2500 MHz) to conduct their 5G trials.
